At Copper Meadows Event Training, we strive to give your horse a home that allows them to live at their optimal health and happiness. That’s why—in addition to our boarders enjoying our extensive facility—board includes three daily feedings, daily stall cleaning, blanketing in the winter, supplement feeding, daily turnout, daily Equicisor use, and year-round cross-country schooling.
To help ensure that both horse and rider are getting the most out of their riding experience, boarders are required to be in a lesson program of no less than 4 lessons a month with Copper Meadows Event Training.
In order to keep our horse and riders healthy and sound, we have created rules to help keep barn member safe. Helmets must be worn while mounted, jumping is not allowed outside of lessons, horses may not be fed in turn-outs or arenas, and you must be in attendance to turn out horses.
Our facility also offers exclusive amenities in order to make sure your equine partner is receiving the best care possible. For instance, our Equicisor not only allows for easy warm-up and cool down for your horse, but also is incredibly helpful when needing to rehabilitate your horse during an injury. There are also 60 temporary stalls offered for those who wish to keep their horses at Copper Meadows Horse Park on a temporary basis.
For non-boarders, riders can utilize the Trailer-On program as a cost-effective way to use our vast facility, participate in lessons, and join in on the activities occurring at Copper Meadows Horse Park. Those in the program gain access to the Cow Arena, turn-outs, scheduled use of the galloping track, and can walk the cross-country course. Copper Bucks are accepted and riders who are a part of the Trailer-On program for 6 consecutive months or more gain a free trailer-on pass to a Copper Meadows Horse Trials!
The Trailer-On program requires that riders always wear helmets when mounted, do not jump outside of lessons, have signed a safety waiver, stay on the designated path while on the cross-country course, and pay their monthly fee by the 3rd of every month.
